NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport is reporting that the Patriots have signed free agent running back Ezekiel Elliott to a one year deal that could be worth up to $6 million dollars. The Patriots signed free agent running back C.J Marable. Marable, 26 originally signed with the Chicago Bears as a rookie free agent out of Coastal Carolina in 2021. The 5-10, 200-pounder, was released by the Bears in May of 2021.  Marable spent the last two seasons playing in the USFL for the Birmingham Stallions. The Patriots have signed former 2015 fourth round pick Trey Flowers.
