Former Wellesley High School quarterback Lukas Prock committed to Indiana on Thursday evening. Prock joins Tabor Academy defensive back Brady Scott as the second Massachusetts native to commit to Curt Cignetti’s Hoosiers this off-season. He chose the Hoosiers over schools like Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, and Florida.
We had a chance to chat with one of the top signal callers in New England, Jareth Staine after his commitment to Stonehill.
Staine held several offers from other schools but chose Stonehill. He tells us why and he shares what went into the decision.

NEFJ: What made Stonehill the right fit for you athletically and academically?
JS: “Stonehill just felt like home from the first time I visited. I really connected with the coaching staff and liked the direction they have for the program. Academically, they have strong programs and I know I’ll be able to get a great education while competing at the Division I level.”
We had a chance to catch up with Bishop Hendricken standout Elijah Guertin after his commitment to Penn State earlier this spring.

Boston College football continues its strong spring in recruiting by securing a commitment from Xaverian linebacker and athlete Michael Harden Jr.

I want to play for a winning program that’s going to develop me. Coach Hauser and all of the Coaches showed me everything I needed to see on my official visit and the decision was a no brainer. The players and people care about winning. The support from the school to the football team is also amazing.
