Peyton Manning could be the biggest fraud in American sports history. 

Peyton Manning is Teflon. Nothing will ever stick to him. Not the HGH scandal, not the sexual abuse claims. Nothing! You can try all you want but as long as he’s beloved by football fans in Tennessee, Indianapolis, Denver and the national media, nothing will ever stick to him. Nothing!

Manning is the football fair haired boy from the first family of football. There is no way on earth he would sexually harness a women or use performance enhancing drugs. He’s Peyton Manning! He represents everything that’s good about professional athletes. 

That’s what the national media wants you to believe because they pander to Manning. They ballwash him and his family at every turn because the Manning’s have  played nice with them through the years. Everyone outside of New England loves Archie, Olivia, Peyton and Eli. I’ve talked to coaches who have gone to the Manning Passing Academy. They speak so highly of Peyton, you would have thought he walks on water! Every one loves the Manning’s. 

I’m not writing this piece because I dislike Manning. However, like most people, I’m tired of the media and his fans working overtime to protect his image. Contrary to what these people think, it’s not out of them realm of possibility that Manning could have forced himself on a women or cheated. He’s human! Unless he’s some kind of an infallible deity from some alternate universe, he is capable of doing what he has been accused of doing.

It’ll be interesting to see if Manning retires in the coming weeks. He should but I think he’s going to delay making that decision because he knows it’s going to open him up to scrutiny. Manning is no dummy. He has a legacy to protect and he’ll do whatever it takes to keep his pristine reputation intact. 

That’s why, he’ll vasilate as long as he can. That gives his people time to formulate a game plan. His lawyers can contact the New York Daily News and Al Jazeera and threaten to sue them. Manning’s private investigators AKA his thugs can continue to run around asking people questions and rough housing them. It’ll all be done in the name of Peyton and protecting his name.

So you see folks? This is why Peyton Manning is Teflon. He’s got a money and media force field around him. No one can touch him. Not now, not ever. He will forever be loved and revered. As far as those that protect him are concerned, he would never do what he’s been accused of recently. Peyton is not like that Tom Brady! They are right. He’s worse.
