Methuen beat Central Catholic. Previously winless Brockton shocked Weymouth. Quincy remained unbeaten with a thrilling win over Plymouth South. One week after losing to Weymouth, Milton rejoins the top 25 after a thrashing of Wachusett….
MILTON- It is rare to say that a defensive performance powered a team to victory but that is exactly what happened. Thanks to a stout defense, three interceptions and two big plays, Milton Academy beat Class A Loomis-Chaffee 24-6.
MEDFIELD – Medfield got 356 yards rushing combined from Brady McCormack and Matteo Benson during a dominant 34-7 win over TVL rival Medway on Friday night. Tied 7-7 at halftime, the Warriors (5-0, 1-0 TVL) scored 27 unanswered in the second half for the run away (pun intended) victory. Medway fell to 3-2 overall and 0-1 in the TVL.
