Sean Marinan returns to Xavier High School as head coach

A familiar face is back on the sidelines at Xavier (Conn) High School. Sean Marinan is back as head football coach, replacing Andy Guyton who stepped away from the program last month. Marinan won five CIAC championships (2005, 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2014) from 2002-16. His record as the Falcons head coach was 120-44-1. MIAA Football Committee moves forward with revised MHSFCA Plan

The MIAA Football Committee voted on Wednesday in a 6-5 margin to submit a new proposal to the Tournament Management Committee for final approval. Under the proposal, schools would play a 10-game regular season. The regular season would end on Thanksgiving Day. Eight teams per division would qualify for the playoffs, 64 total. Hamilton-Wenham names Mike Flynn head coach

Former Baltimore Ravens Super Bowl champion and 11 year NFL veteran Mike Flynn is the new head football coach at Hamilton-Wenham High School.
