King Philip 28 Taunton 7- Warriors overcome early deficit to beat Taunton
TAUNTON- King Philip isn’t used to playing from behind but that is exactly what happened on Thursday night as the Warriors fell behind in the first two minutes of their game against Taunton. Thanks to a 52 yard touchdown run by Tigers running back Carlos Cruz, the Tigers struck first to take an early 7-0 lead. King Philip responded however thanks to an 11 play drive that was capped off……
Dudes of the Week – Week 3
Connecticut Running Back Soren Reif rushed for 310 yards and 6 touchdowns in Killingly’s win on Thursday night. DUDE! Southington quarterback CJ DiBenedetto completed 24-of-38 passes for 359 yards and three touchdowns in a 34-27 loss to Staples. DUDE! CB Alex Washington enters the portal after four games at Boston College

The former All-Ivy League performer was expected to compete for a starting job with the Eagles after transferring to Boston College earlier this year but Washington couldn’t beat out Elijah Jones or Amari Jackson. College Dudes of the Week – Week 4
Dylan Laube, RB, UNH- Laube had a 100 yard kick off return for a touchdown and 163 all-purpose yards in a 29-25 loss to Delaware. Matt Sluka, QB, Holy Cross- Sluka completed 18-of-26 passes for 186 yards and four touchdowns in a 47-7 win over Colgate.
