Patriots Pulse Blog: Bob Kraft Should Mind His Business When it Comes to Relocation.

Bob Kraft is one of the most powerful owners in professional sports. He took a down trodden franchise in the Patriots and turned them into a billion dollar corporation. He knows how to make money.

While I appreciate what Kraft has done for the Patriots and the local economy, I don’t like the fact that he is a company spokesmen for the NFL. I get that he’s a league guy but why is it every time a team talks about relocating, Kraft feels the need to intervene and give his two cents? The latest example. Kraft thinks the Raiders should move to Vegas. I couldn’t disagree more. I think that’s a horrible idea. Las Vegas is not an NFL market. The reason Kraft thinks it is, is because like most owners, he sees a potential cash cow there.

Look, I respect what Bob Kraft has done in New England. The Patriots are the model franchise in the NFL. Not only that, but I respect his business acumen as well. I just don’t like when he pushes the league agenda, especially when it comes to relocation. Why support a league that has turned its back on you in recent years? It really doesn’t make sense. Just like having a team in Las Vegas doesn’t make sense.
