Sean Marinan returns to Xavier High School as head coach

A familiar face is back on the sidelines at Xavier (Conn) High School. Sean Marinan is back as head football coach, replacing Andy Guyton who stepped away from the program last month. Reports say Patriots “Really Want” Tee Higgins

According to NFL Insider Jason LaCanfora, the Patriots “really want” to sign free agent wide receiver Tee Higgins.  Higgins is an unrestricted free agent and his current team, the Cincinnati Bengals is expected to try and re-sign him. The NFL revealed the full list of 329 players who will have the biggest (and longest) job interview of their lives in Indianapolis during the NFL Combine. MIAA Football Committee moves forward with revised MHSFCA Plan

The MIAA Football Committee voted on Wednesday in a 6-5 margin to submit a new proposal to the Tournament Management Committee for final approval. Under the proposal, schools would play a 10-game regular season. The regular season would end on Thanksgiving Day. Eight teams per division would qualify for the playoffs, 64 total.
