The Miami Beach Bowl is known for offense and this year’s game should be no different with the high flying Tulsa Golden Hurricane playing in it.
Central Michigan v. Tulsa -11, in the Miami Beach Bowl: This will be a high scoring affair. Both offenses can score, especially Tulsa. The Golden Hurricanes rank 10th in the country in total offense averaging 41.4 points per game. Conversely, Central Michigan is 77th in the country averaging 27.7 points per game.
For the Chips to have any chance of winning this game, they must run the football and control the clock. if they can keep Tulsa’s high powered offense on the sideline for any period of time, that would be a big plus.
Unfortunately for Central Michigan, I don’t think it’ll matter. Tulsa plays too fast and has too many athletes. I think they’ll win this game running away. Take the Canes as a -11 favorite. They’ll win by three scores and continue the tradition of high scoring games in the Miami Beach Bowl.
