Johnny Manziel surrendered to police in Highland Park, Texas, on Wednesday following his indictment last week on a misdemeanor assault charge involving an attack on his ex-girlfriend Colleen Crowley. After taking this mugshot, Manziel posted the $1500 bond and was released.
Manziel tweeted that he was glad he had a shirt this time. Manziel is making reference to a mugshot he took a few years ago after he was arrested. He wasn’t wearing a shirt in the picture. I’m glad he thinks being indicted for beating your ex-girlfriend is funny.
The smerk on Manziel’s face says it all. He is a punk who thinks he is above the law. He’s Johnny Manziel. He can do whatever he wants. After all, he’s delusional enough to think he will get another shot to play in the NFL. I’ve got news for you Johnny, that’s not going to happen.
Manziel will not play football in 2016 and quite frankly, I don’t think he should ever play in the NFL again. I believe in second chances but I don’t think he deserves one. Manziel needs to grow up but more importantly, he needs help. Until he gets it, no team should ever consider signing him.
I said it three years ago and I’ll say it again. Manziel is not an NFL quarterback. Not only is he not one on the field, he isn’t one off the field either.
