What-Hugh-Freeze-said-after-the-Rebels’-victory-over-the-LSU-Tigers-650x342
Hugh Freeze. Good, honest Southerner or Devil dealing bullshitter?

I’m scripting the top ten football stories of the day. Here we go!

1. Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze is either telling the truth about recruits getting paid or he’s the world’s greatest liar. He was shocked by Laremy Tunsil’s announcement last week at his post draft press conference. You decide. I don’t buy it. I think he knew and he’s full of crap! #snakeoilsalesman

2. So long Joe Cardona. It was nice having you as the Patriots long snapper for one season. Hopefully Bill is willing to give you another chance in two years but it’s the NFL. Don’t hold your breath!

3. The Patriots have tabbed their week 10 game against the Seahawks as their “elite” game or as I like to call, “the annual fleecing”. Ticket prices for the Sunday night affair will range between $111 for the nosebleeds to $275 for the good seats. Thanks Bob!

4. The Falcons became the first team yesterday to sign all of their draft picks. That’s great but taking Keanu Neal in the first round is still a head scratcher to me.

5. I’m not going to lie, the Benson family estate drama is entertaining. Benson doesn’t want to leave the Saints and Pelicans to his family and they think he’s coo-coo for Cocoa Puffs and dying. Stay tuned! It could get ugly in the coming weeks.

6. The Rams signing Junior Seau’s nephew Ian as an UDFA is a great story but would be talking about him if he wasn’t a Seau? No! In fact, that might the only reason he’s getting a shot.

7. The Paterno family needs a reality check! Face it fam! Joe Pa wasn’t as squeaky clean as you thought! Like most people, he had skeletons in his closet too.

8. 49ers rookie quarterback Jeff Driskel said yesterday that he is the perfect fit for Chip Kelly’s offense. Settle down kid. You were a 6th rounder for a reason. Stop trying to pretend that you might be the next Tom Brady. You’re no Tom Brady my friend.

9. Five star quarterback recruit Tate Martell decommitting from Texas A&M is a huge blow for Kevin Sumlin and his staff. Wide receiver coach Aaron Moorehead bashing Martell for his lack of commitment on twitter is also a bad look. Just saying.

10. Rams owner Stan Kroenke compared Jared Goff to Kurt Warner. O.K, thanks Stan! Focus on real estate. To quote Jim Mora. You don’t know diddly poo about football!
