Fantasy Football: Add Em, Drop Em for Week 15

It is week two of the fantasy football playoffs and it is do or die for a lot of fantasy owners out there. You need a big week or your season ends. Well, there are some diamonds in the rough with good match-ups this weekend.

Here is our add em and drop em for Week 15.

Add Em!

1. Aaron Rodgers, QB, Packers: Many people dropped Rodgers after he got hurt in Week 5. Well he’s back and while the match-up against Carolina isn’t ideal, you should grab him if he is sitting on your league’s waiver wire. He’s Aaron Rodgers for crips sake!

2. Nick Foles, QB, Eagles: Foles has a lot of weapons to work with in Philadelphia. He will put up better numbers than people think because he has a strong running game to balance  things out. Foles has had success in Philadelphia before and he knows the system so he is worth taking a flier on if you are looking for a replacement or a back up.

3. Saints Defense: The Saints defense has a great match up at home this week against Bryce Petty and the Jets putrid offense. This could be a 20-25 point game for Dennis Allen’s unit.

4. Kerwynn Williams, RB, Cardinals: With Adrian Peterson being placed on I.R yesterday, this opens the door for Williams to be the feature back. Williams has flex appeal this week against a Redskins defense that has been generous to opposing running backs of late.

5. Dede Westbrook, WR, Jaguars: Westbrook has caught 17 passes in his last three games and has become Blake Bortles favorite target. He has double digit points in each of his last three games so picking him up now would be wise.

Drop Em!

1. Bengals Defense: This was a top five scoring defense the first five weeks of the season. Since then, they have disintegrated.

2. Aaron Jones, RB, Packers: Jamaal Williams has established himself as the back to own in Green Bay. There are better options out there.

3. Patriots Defense: The Patriots defense is banged up, the Dolphins lit them up and now they head to Pittsburgh to face the Steelers vaunted offense. Bottom line, there are way better defense out there with better match-ups that you can stream.

4. Jordan Reed, TE, Redskins: Mr. Injured is out again this week. Just cut your losses already. Even if he comes back this season, he won’t be a factor. If you are in the playoffs, you need roster spots. Open one up by cutting Reed.

5. Marcus Mariota, QB, Titans: I have told you to drop Mariota before. If you didn’t, now you are paying for it. Mariota has thrown eight interceptions in his last four games. He finishes the season off with games against the Rams and Jags, two of the best teams in the league. Drop him already!
