Lebron and the Cavs proved that they are still the best team in the east by a wide margin last night.
1. Peyton Manning is announcing his retirement tomorrow. I’ll babble about that in my next piece.
2. The Bruins should have won last night. They didn’t but they did prove over the course of the last two games that they can play with the two best teams in the NHL.
3. Breath Celtics fans. For a brief time this week, you thought the C’s might be a title contender. Then they played the Cavs last night and they slapped some reality into them 120-103. Cleveland is still the beast of the east!
4. Has Holly Holm woken up yet? I’m not a UFC fan by any means but Miesha Tate putting her to sleep last night was awesome. I guess sleeper holds do exist.
5. Speaking of UFC, I’m glad that obnoxious idiot Conor McGregor lost. He’s more annoying than Rousey if that’s possible.
6. David Price looked good yesterday. IN A SIMULATED GAME! Give me a break! Talk to me when he actually pitches a game.
7. You probably don’t know who Wendall Williams is but you will now. The former NAIA receiver ran a blistering 4.19 forty yesterday at a regional combine. He had a vertical jump of 45 inches. Those are insane numbers. At 5-10, 185, he has good size and was productive in college. My guess is someone will take a chance on him in the draft. Probably in sixth or seventh round.
8. Ndamukomg Suh restructured his contract to give the Dolphins some cap relief. Ohhhh. What a good guy. What, he doesn’t like losing anymore?
