Huskies first possession at their own 12 

  • Tough start by UConn with the Ross fumble and pick. They start at their own 12 yard line.
  • Ross follows it up with a drop. Huskies need to get off to a good start offensively.
  • Eagles playing off early in coverage.

Eagles first possession begins at their own 36.

  • UConn  cannot give Castellanos running lanes. He is lethal in space.
  • First down Eagles extends the drive. Eagles grinding it out early.
  • Castellanos FUMBLES. Recovered by UConn’s Pryce Yates! Big turnover over for the Huskies.

Huskies second possession begins at the 50. 

  • First down Roberson to Porter. Huskies at the B.C 34 as they extend the drive.
  • Camryn Edwards is a bull inside the tackles. Runs behind his pads and finishes through contact. Similar to Kye Robichaux.

Eagles second possession begins the their own 25

  • Castellanos on the draw. He will have plenty of lanes to run through at this rate.
  • Big 3rd & 8 here for both teams early on.
  • Tomlin is short on the RPO. 4th & 1 for the Eagles.
  • First down Castellanos on the quarterback lead.

  • Pass to Ross is complete and good enough for a Huskies first down at their 36.
  • Drive stalling with the loss on the first play and now the throw away on the screen.

  • Passing games both struggling. Drops have been a issue for both teams.

  • Boston College running game has been unreal the past month and the torrid pace continues today.

Huskies fourth possession at their own 21 yard line

  • Huskies go three and out. Boston College brough pressure once again and forced Roberson to throw it away.
  • Huskies offensive line struggling with blitz pick up. They are picking up pressure but it is late.

Eagles fourth possession at their own 19 yard line

  • Eagles come out throwing on their first two plays of the possession. Need to run here. Need to extend this drive.
  • Freshmen Jaedn Skeete makes a circus catch and gets to the UConn 42. Eagles go fast and pick up 11 on the next play. Huskies need to be ready on the snap.
  • UConn forced to play a six man box. Eagles taking advantage of loose coverage on the outside.

  • Huskies need to capitalize on this possession right before the half.
  • Huskies setting up to go for it with Jelani Stafford at fullback. I am hoping he gets the ball if they decide to go for it.
  • UConn decides to pass on 4th & 1 and the pass intended for Stafford is short.

Eagles fifth possession at the UConn 40

  • Eagles need to take advantage of the short field right before the half. They get the ball to start the second half.
  • Tomlin 11 yards for the 1st.
  • Jackson Mitchell just tackled Castellanos in space. With ease. DUDE!
  • Shearin picks off Castellanos in the end zone, ending the B.C drive.

  • Castellanos back in for the Eagles.
  • Eagles convert a 3rd & 12 for the firs down. Jaedn Skeete makes another catch. He has been a big part of the offense today for B.C.

  • Broome goes for 11 and 9 yards on consecutive running plays.
  • Eagles with 215 yards rushing this afternoon.
  • Eagles face a 4th & 5 from the UConn 32. Big decision for the Eagles.
  • Castellanos converts a 4th & 5 with a 9 yard pick up. BIG RUN!
