Week seven featured five programs locally on bye weeks. We also saw a thrilling finish at Brown and a couple of blowouts including Harvard blowing out Howard and UMass getting blown out at Penn State.
Here is Top 16 Poll after Week 7.
1. Harvard (5-0)- Crimson cruise past Howard. Next up is a trip to New Jersey to take on Princeton,
2. Holy Cross (4-2)- Crusaders had a bye this week. Host 5-1 Lafayette on Saturday in what should be a tough test.
3. Yale (3-2)- Make it three in a row for the Bulldogs as they roll past Sacred Heart. 4-1 Penn comes to New Haven on Saturday.
4. Rhode Island (4-3)- Rams drop one spot after tough 24-17 loss to Richmond. A visit to Albany is up next up in what should be a really good game.
5. Boston College (3-3)- Eagles stand pat as they were on a bye week. They visit Georgia Tech this weekend in what is a big game when it comes to their bowl chances.
6. Brown (3-2)- Bears move up one spot after their thrilling win over Princeton in overtime. It was their first win over Princeton since 2015. Bruno visits Cornell on Saturday.
7. New Hampshire (3-3)- Wildcats pick up an impressive 38-31 home win over Albany to move up two spots in the poll. They travel to Stony Brook on Saturday in what should be a winnable game.
8. Merrimack (3-3)- Warriors were on a bye. They hit the road this weekend as they visit Long Island.
9. Bryant (3-3)- Bulldogs blowout Robert Morris at home. They will look to get above .500 this weekend when they visit Eastern Illinois.
10. Dartmouth (2-3)- Big Green drops in our poll after a tough road loss to Colgate. Columbia visits Hanover on Saturday.
11. Central Connecticut State (2-4)- The Blue Devils lose a tough one on the road to Duquesne. They hope to bounce back this week when they travel to Wagner.
12. UConn (1-5)- Huskies had a bye this weekend. They host South Florida on Saturday.
13. Maine (2-5)- Black Bears match last season’s win total after beating LIU. They travel to Campbell this weekend.
14. Stonehill (2-4)- Skyhawks had a bye this weekend. They hope to get back on track on Saturday when they host Sacred Heart.
15. UMass (1-7)- Let’s put our last week’s loss to Penn State behind us. Minutemen have a bye this weekend.
16. Sacred Heart (1-6)- Pios played hard against Yale but were over matched. They visit Stonehill on Saturday.
