The Script for October 12th 2016

Ryan and Chuck sitting on a tree….You know the rest.

The Script is my off and on look at what’s going on around the NFL and College Football.

1.Eric Decker has decided to have rotator cuff surgery which means his season is over. The Jets season is over too. “Gang Green” isn’t going anywhere, especially without Decker.

2. Brady was named AFC Player of the Week. Order has officially been restored in the NFL.

3.  The Nevada state senate approved a new stadium for the Raiders by a 16-5 vote. If the Raiders are willing to relocate, the state of Nevada is willing to do their part to build a stadium for them. I would say that at this point, its a forgone conclusion. The Raiders are leaving Oakland.

4. According to Colts GM Ryan Grigson, he and coach Chuck Pagano are on the same. The fact that Grigson had to address their relationship is a sure sign that things are not going well in Indy.

5. I think the Steelers signing running back Karlos Williams is a sneaky good move. Williams is a big back who could prove to be an asset for the Steelers in December and January.

6. It is not a good week to be an elite running back in college football. Leonard Fournette is expected to miss his third game of the season Saturday for LSU while Stanford running back Christian McCaffery is “pretty banged up” and doubtful for Saturday at Notre Dame.

Remember when people around college football were calling the 2017 running back class the best class of back they’ve seen in twenty years? Yeah….I’m not sure they’ll reach that lofty praise if they aren’t healthy.
