The Next Step in “All Football, All The Time.”

To NEFJ supporters, friends and family:

Change is inevitable in every aspect of life.

On Super Bowl Sunday in February of 2020, John and Kevin sat in a Dunkin Donuts in Foxborough and hatched out a plan to become a one-stop-shop for all things New England football, A website that covered the Patriots, College and High School Football. We also wanted to make sure that we were one of the few sites that didn’t charge people. We had no idea where the idea would go, but we knew it had potential.

Fast forward to August of 2023 and we have exceeded every one of our own expectations and then some. Relationships we’ve built with our sponsors, high schools in each New England state, as well as the 16 Division 1 programs and the Patriots, are honestly what we are most proud of. As we grew and partnered up with one of the best writers in the region in Adam Kurkjian, our expectations continued to grow.

We legitimately feel we can take this thing to some incredible heights and have lost count of the amount of people that stop us at a game or event to congratulate or compliment us or say “you guys are everywhere.”

In order to do so at an even higher level, the ‘pay wall’ has become a reality. We will be starting one effective today for $2.99 per month. Some of our Patriots coverage will remain free. Most (but not all) of our high school and college coverage (game stories, features, previews, polls etc.) will move behind the wall starting today, September 4th. All of our live stream shows will remain free.

In order to travel to more games, hire more writers, photographers and content producers and cover numerous other site costs, we’re hoping the football community that has been so good to us and helped us grow into a legitimate member of the New England media market won’t mind continuing to back us, even if it costs a couple bucks.

To say we’re excited for the 2023 season would be a massive understatement. Hopefully, this will be the best one yet.

  1. The reason I will never pay if because of how you teased your readers on the high school football countdown. Stopping the free content as you neared the top. If it’s only a small group please know it is quite upsetting to many of your loyal audience.

  2. John. I still don’t see a place to sign up. Just put a sign up box out at the beginning of your article.
