The Daily Script for August 30th 2016

1. Colin Kaepernick wants you to know that he will not be standing for the national anthem this season. In other news, Kaepernick still sucks and is overpaid.

2. I can’t say I’m surprised the Browns cut outside linebacker Paul Kruger. He hasn’t exactly played up to his $40 million dollar contract.

3. Make sure you are sitting down. Second year Ravens receiver Breshad Perriman might play Thursday night.

4. Barkevious Mingo has experienced culture shock going from the Browns to the Patriots. Yes Kiki. That’s like trading in a 78 Yugo for a 2017 Bentley. It’s a different world my friend.

5. Former 49ers great Jerry Rice has been pretty vocal on Twitter these days. First, he announced his disdain for Chip Kelly’s offense and yesterday he told Colin Kaepernick to respect the flag. Is Jerry angling to get back into television?

6. I don’t have a flipping clue who Alabama’s quarterback will be for Saturday’s opener against USC and that’s Nick Saban wants it.
