UNH 42, Bryant 14 – Wildcats roll past Bulldogs
SMITHFIELD- New Hampshire scored on their first two possessions to build an early 14-0 lead en route to an easy 42-14 win over the Bryant Bulldogs in Smithfield.
Big plays were the theme for the Wildcats on Saturday, something that has been elusive at times this season. New Hampshire opened the scoring with a 35 yard touchdown pass from sophomore quarterback Matt Vezza to wide receiver Casey McKinney. The Wildcats would add to their lead on their next possession when Vezza would find tight end Peyton Strickland in the right flat for a 5 yard touchdown pass to make it 14-0.
