UMass announces Jared Keyte as the program’s new defensive coordinator

Courtesy of Rutgers Athletics On Friday, UMass announced Jared Keyte as the program’s new defensive coordinator. Keyte comes to Amherst after spending the past two seasons working with new coach Joe Harasymiak as the nickels coach in 2024.  Keyte served as the defensive quality control/interim defensive line coach in 2023. Harasymiak re-tooling the UMass roster in the portal

Courtesy of UMass Athletics UMass hired Rutgers defensive coordinator Joe Harasymiak as the school’s new head football coach last week. The hiring was universally applauded as the 38 year old Harasymiak has the perfect blend of local ties and experience on his resume.
