Falcons wide receiver Mohamed Sanu claims that the Falcons lost Super Bowl 51 because of a prolonged halftime due to Lady Gaga’s performance. Right…..

Sanu’s excuse might be the most pathetic excuse in the history of American professional sports. Sanu is blaming a performer and the halftime show for losing the Super Bowl. I am pretty sure that is a first.

Sanu should blame Dan Quinn and his coaching staff for losing the Super Bowl. Now I know he can’t do that, but that is who is ultimately responsible for the Falcons second half collapse. Not Lady Gaga! 

The Falcons ran out of gas defensively in the second half and Tom Brady exploited them. That and Falcons offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan forgot that you play call to kill clock when you are winning in the fourth quarter.

Sanu has an awful lot to say for a guy who is grossly overpaid and has never done anything of note in his career. He is Julio Jones well paid caddy in Atlanta. He should keep his mouth shut and earn his big, fat paycheck.

Instead, Sanu decided to spout off about the Falcons Super Bowl loss and he looks like an idiot. When you blame Lady Gaga for losing a game, you are an idiot!
