Pirates Preview: Las Vegas Knight Hawks (4-6) at Massachusetts Pirates (7-3)

Kickoff
: The Pirates will be looking to pick up their eighth win of the season tonight at home when they host the Las Vegas Knight Hawks. The Pirates picked up their best win of the season last week beating Frisco 72-58. Massachusetts hopes to continue their winning ways tonight.

Here are three keys to the game.

1. No letdown:  Last week’s win was nice but the Pirates have to refocus and take care of business against a team they should beat at home. Beating Frisco was great but the Pirates are still looking up in the standings so they need a win tonight.

2. Keeping it rolling on O: The offense has been on a great stretch the past few weeks and need to keep it rolling tonight against a Las Vegas defense which is giving up 50.5 points per game. They are very generous so the Pirates need to take advantage.

3. New faces on defense must step up: There have been a bunch of new faces on defense week in and week out it seems and yet they still produce. It is more of the same this week with the Pirates injuries. They will once again be counting on the defense to step and continue to play at a high level.

Final Thoughts: Hold serve at home. Plain and simple. The Pirates are the better team and they have been dominant at home. These two teams have met one other time and that was last season in Vegas, a game the Pirates lost. They will be looking to get revenge tonight and should get it.
