Jett Bush, LB, 6-2 242, Texas

Bush played in 58 games over five seasons for the Longhorns. racking up 17 tackles with three tackles for loss, two sacks, and one interception last season. Bush profiles as a depth linebacker and special teamer. 

Jontrey Hunter, LB, 6-1 236, Georgia State

Hunter was arguably the Panthers best defensive player in 2023. He recorded 96 tackles on the season. Hunter started 22 games the past two seasons. He has good size, is physical against the run and has three down versatility. ESPN’s Mike Reiss was the first to report his signing.

Jacob Warren, TE, 6-6 253, Tennessee

According to the Tennessee Football’s X account, Jacob Warren has signed with the Patriots. He played six seasons for the Vols, appearing in 54 games. Warren can play the Y or the U spot and is a solid blocker who could be targeted in the red zone. He finished last season with 16 catches for 191 yards and four touchdowns.

Kaleb Ford-Dement, CB, 5-11 190, Texas State

According to MassLive’s Mark Daniels, the Patriots signed Ford-Dement as a UDFA. He spent the 2023 season at Texas State. Prior to playing for the Bobcats, Ford-Dement played for three different schools during his college career. Ford-Dement  appeared in all 13 games for the Bobcats last season. He finished with 32 tackles, seven pass breakups, and three interceptions. He profiles as a slot or field corner.

DeShaun Fenwick, RB, 6-2 222, Oregon State

Reiss also reported Fenwick’s signing as well. Fenwick is a big back who runs north, south and is a pile mover. He is strong on contact and consistently break tackles. He played in all 13 games for the Beavers last season, finishing with 515 rushing yards on 96 carries and scoring five touchdowns. He has a legitimate shot to make the Patriots given their lack of depth at the running back position. 

Zuri Henry, OT, 6-6 293, UTEP

KPRC’s Aaron Wilson reported Henry’s signing with the Patriots. Henry has good length and athleticism. He spent six seasons at UTEP, playing in 11 games for the Miners in 2023. He played in 52 games over his college career. Henry is a swing tackle who has played both right and left tackle in his college career.

John Morgan III, EDGE, 6-2 270, Arkansas

First reported by the Boston Herald‘s Doug Kyed. Morgan played in 11 games last season for Arkansas. The 6-foot-2, 270-pound defensive end recorded 15 tackles and two sacks in 2023. He offers sub package pass rushing with some special teams versatility. 

Dell Puttus, S, 6-0 205, Troy

Puttus announced he signed with the Patriots on his social media accounts. He spent four years at Troy, starting 61 straight games for the Trojans. He finished last season with 74 tackles. He profiles as a 3X3 safety who can play in all three levels of the defense. He will have to contribute on special teams to make the roster.

Mikey Victor, CB, 6-3 209, Alabama State

Big boundary corner who could also play on free safety down the road as well. Victor played for Alabama State in 2022 and 2023. He recorded two interceptions and 36 total tackles last season.Victor announced he signed on his social media accounts. 

Charles Turner, C, 6-4 300, LSU

Versatile guard, center who spent five years at LSU. He was the Tigers’ starting center for the last two seasons. Strong run blocker at the point of attack who plays with good fundamentals. He plays with good power and has strong hands. Kyed broke news of his signing.
