All the guessing and prognosticating is done.
We now know what the 2024 Patriots look like…for now.
New England released 16 players on Tuesday to get down to the 53-man limit after making a bunch of moves on Monday too. The Patriots also placed Kendrick Bourne, Sione Takitaki and Cole Strange on PUP, which means they’ll be out for at least the first four games of the season. Christian Barmore was placed on the ‘Reserve/Non-football Injury list (designated to return),’ which leaves the door open for him to come back. Calvin Anderson, Marte Mapu and Armon Watts were placed on injured reserve.
Here are the players New England released on Tuesday:
Josh Bledsoe, Kellen Diesch, Liam Fornadel, Joe Giles-Harris, Kevin Harris, Terrell Jennings, Kobe Jones, Matt Landers, Antonio Mafi, Jotham Russell, Chad Ryland, A.J. Thomas, Shaun Wade, David Wallis, Mitchell Wilcox & Bailey Zappe.
