1st quarter
1.Good start on this opening drive. Getting off to a good start was key.
2.Another game, another drop by Ja’Lynn Polk. He’s only caught 10 of 24 targets.
3.Jags pass rush already a problem. Patriots moving the pocket for Maye and throwing a screen.
JaMychal Hasty 16 yard touchdown catch. Extra point is good. 7-0 Patriots
4.Defense comes up big with an early stop. The Patriots needed to get off a good start and they have.
5.The full Drake Maye experience. Misses a pass but runs for a first down.
6.Maye checking out a lot at the line of scrimmage. Clearly has full command of the offense. AVP trusts him with the audibles. He has the keys to the car. #Pats Jags.
7.Maye’s athleticism makes this offense so much better.
8.Another injury up front with Robinson down and Sow in. Unreal!
9.The Jaguars are so dumb and undisciplined on defense. Just flat out awful.
2nd Quarter
10.Missed opportunity. Sow gets beat clean, alters Maye’s throw. Incomplete.
Slye 41 yard field. Patriots 10-0 with 13:31 in the first half
Gross run fits. Can’t stack and shed blocks. It’s a problem with this team.
Awful drive. Brian Thomas is the one guy who you can’t let beat you. He beats them for six.
Brian Thomas 6 yd touchdown. Extra point is good. 10-7 Patriots
Patriots tried to match read it inside, out and it didn’t happen. Communication in the secondary continues to be an issue.
Bad time for the offense to stall. Jacksonville steadying to get the momentum here.
Our number one match up going into this game and Thomas is torching the Patriots.
Tank Bigsby 2 yd touchdown. Extra point is good. 14-10 Jaguars 3:32 left in the first half.
After a three and out, the special teams gives up a 96 yard punt return and a two point conversion. OOOF.
3rd Quarter
Defense getting destroyed upfront. It’s sad to watch. Bad fits, bad tackling and the secondary is getting toasted.
Offense has hit a wall. Not quite sure why they’re running the football this much down by 15.
