Round 1: Pick #23: Kenneth Murray, OLB, Oklahoma: The Patriots will try to move up if they can. If not, they will stand pat and take the best defensive player available. Patriots Draft: The 2020 Draft could be the most important draft in Patriots history
By Kevin Stone/@kstone06 This may seem like hyperbole but it’s not…this draft could be the most significant draft in Patriots history. The NFL Draft begins tonight and as of now the Patriots have the 23rd pick in the draft. Whether they go quarterback, linebacker, defensive tackle or tight end remains to be seen, but the weekend as a whole is what really matters. For the first time since 1993, the……
Patriots Draft: Defensive Tackle Scouting Reports
The Patriots need to address the defensive tackle position after losing Danny Shelton in free agency. Bill Belichick likes stout defensive tackles that can not only play in a shade alignment but head up as well. This year’s draft has a good blend of defensive tackles that can play in a variety of schemes. Here is what I look for in defensive tackles Vs. Run Pass Rush Pursuit Tackling Quickness……
NFL Draft: Top New England prospects for the 2020 NFL Draft
URI receivers and cousins Isaiah Coulter and Aaron Parker are two intriguing prospects in this draft. With the NFL Draft kicking off on Thursday night, there are several local prospects that could hear their names called. We all know about A.J Dillon. He’s our number one New England draft prospect but who are some others? Who is the next Deonte Harris? Here are my top twelve New England draft prospects….
Patriots Draft: Wide Receiver Scouting Reports
On paper, the Patriots don’t have a glaring need at wide receiver. That is why I am not listing the top in this class in my scouting reports because unless one falls at 23 and is too good a value to pass up, they are not going to take one early. Day two and three however are a different story. Here are my scouting reports for the ten receivers I……

APRIL 21, 1991 The Marriott Marquis in New York was the site for the 1991 draft and those in attendance that day saw quite a few memorable, impact players selected on day one and throughout the weekend. Russell…
Patriots: Patriots trade Rob Gronkowski and a seventh round pick to the Buccaneers for a 4th round pick
In a completely unexpected trade this afternoon, former Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski ended his retirement and was traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to reunite with Tom Brady. Bill Belichick sent Gronkowski and a seventh round pick to Tampa Bay for a fourth round pick. Pick #117 to be exact. The deal was surprising, especially when you consider that Gronkowski was pretty adamant last spring that he was done….
Patriots point-counterpoint: The Patriots unveil new uniforms
All images courtesy of the New England Patriots. The Patriots unveiled new uniforms yesterday for the first time in 20 years. The design is based on the color rush uniforms the team has been wearing the past two years. https://twitter.com/patriots/status/1252208215867211781?s=21 The reception to the new threads has been mixed at best. Some people like them but a lot of people hate them. Case in point. Not all of us "love…
NFL: This day in NFL Draft history
By Kevin Stone/@kstone06/@newftbj It’s finally draft week. The first NFL Draft was held in February of 1936, with the next six years taking place in December. The first NFL Draft held in April was in 1943, and it remained that way for the next two years, but 1945 was the final one in April until 1976. This month has remained the designated Draft month since then with a few May…
