Week 7 High School Preview
An interesting slate of games this weekend. There are fewer top games, but they are high quality. It should be another fun weekend. Let’s get to it. College Dudes of the Week: Week 7
URI wide receiver Marques Buchanan caught 9 passes for 107 yards and a touchdown in the Rams 31-21 win over Brown. DUDE!
Harvard quarterback Jaden Craig completed 20-of-27 passes for 316 yards and 4 touchdown passes in a 38-20 win over Cornell. DUDE!
Top 10 NEPSAC Poll: Week 5
Business picked up this week in the NEPSAC. Several early key match-ups in the ISL Large highlighted the slate.
There was some movement in the poll. St. Paul’s made the biggest jump after their win over Dexter-Southfield, 13-12.

1. Brunswick (5-0): Bruins beat Suffield Academy 35-7. Host Phillips Andover on Saturday.
CIAC Top 25 Poll: Week 6
Lots of byes this week. As a result, there wasn’t much of a change in this week’s poll. Expect changes this however after a good slate of games. 1. Greenwich (4-0): Bye last week. A match up with Wilton awaits the Cardinals this week. 2. Windsor (4-0): Coming off a bye and a big test ahead against Maloney on Friday. 3. Staples (4-0): Bye week over. Wreckers visit New Canaan……
Top 16 Division 1 College Poll for Week 7
Several programs were idle this week so there was not much movement in the poll.
Here is this week’s Top 16 Division One Poll.
1. Rhode Island (5-1): Rams outlast the Bears 31-21 to keep the Governors Cup in Kingston. A big game is on tap this week with a visit to UNH.
Catching up with Blake Hebert after his commitment to Notre Dame
Former Central Catholic and current Brunswick School quarterback Blake Hebert surprised the New England football community on Monday afternoon by announcing that he is de-committing from Clemson and committing to Notre Dame.
Hebert originally committed to Dabo Swinney and the Tigers on June 16, 2023 but changed his mind and decided to commit to the Irish. Hebert thanked the Clemson staff on X for recruiting him.
