NFL: Week 6 Picks Versus the Spread

The NFL is back in London this week.

Some quality plays on the schedule this week. Here are the games we chose to put our money on.

Seattle Seahawks vs. Oakland Raiders (+3, 48): In a match up of two teams that are pretty much even, I’m taking the Raiders as a dog in this one. I think Oakland wins in a shootout.

Los Angeles Chargers (+1, 47) at Cleveland Browns: The Browns being favored in this game is a joke. The Chargers will get consistent pressure on Baker Mayfield and force him into bad decisions. The Chargers will score plenty of points against an inconsistent Browns defense and win.

Carolina Panthers (-1, 44.5) at Washington Redskins: The Redskins are struggling offensively and will be without Chris Thompson and Jamison Crowder for this game. That is too much production to replace. Give me the Panthers in this one.

Indianapolis Colts at New York Jets (-2.5, 47.5): The Jets dominated the Broncos last week and will look to do the same thing this week to a banged up Colts team that plays no defense.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals (-1.5, 50): It is time to start paying attention to the Bengals people. They are legit. Despite a strong start, people are dismissing them. A win over Pittsburgh today will finally get people’s attention. That’s why I’m going with the black and orange in this one.

Arizona Cardinals at Minnesota Vikings (-10, 44): The Vikings burned me a few weeks back against Buffalo but I have a feeling that they’ll make amends today against a bad Arizona team.

Chicago Bears (-6, 41.5) at Miami Dolphins: Brock Osweiler is starting for Miami in place of Ryan Tannehill. The Bears defense is going to have a field day with him and the Dolphins struggling offense. Bears are a no brainer pick as a road favorite.

Buffalo Bills (+10, 40) at Houston Texans: Deshaun Watson is banged up and the Texans offense has struggled of late. All of that adds up to taking the Bills as a road dog in what should be a close game. Buffalo is playing better of late despite their offensive woes.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Atlanta Falcons (-3, 57.5): I’m putting my money on the Falcons as a home favorite. This game could be a shootout given the defensive struggles of both teams. If that’s the case, Atlanta wins.

Los Angeles Rams at Denver Broncos (+7, 50.5): 1 to 3 inches of snow is expected to be on the ground in Denver when this game kicks off. It will be cold and blustery. Those conditions plus playing at home makes the Broncos a no brainer pick.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Dallas Cowboys (+3, 40): The Jaguars offense is once again a train wreck and their vaunted defense has come back to earth this season. The Cats are primed to get upset and a desperate Cowboys team is just the right team to pull it off at home.

Baltimore Ravens at Tennessee Titans (+2.5, 42.5): Expect a low scoring, defensive game. The team that scores first will win this game. I’ve got the Titans 20-17. That’s who I’m putting my money on. Playing at home will be the difference.

Kansas City Chiefs at New England Patriots (-3.5, 59): The Patriots haven’t forgotten last season’s season opening blowout loss to the Chiefs at home. They would love to return the favor tonight and they will. I think Tom Brady plays well and the Patriots beat the Chiefs in a high scoring affair.

San Francisco 49ers at Green Bay Packers (-9.5, 46.5): It’s too bad ESPN can’t flex out of this one. The Packers should roll against the depleted 49ers.
