NFL: Week 10 Picks

Snow is being forecasted in Chicago today for the Packers, Bears game.

It is Week 10 of the 2017 season and we are starting to get into playoff scenarios now with seven weeks left in the regular season.

Here are my picks for Week 10.

1:00 ET Minnesota -1.5 At Washington 41: The Vikings are coming off a bye. The Redskins beat the Seahawks in Seattle thanks to a stellar performance by the defense. Minnesota has gotten by with a mediocre running game and Case Keemun at quarterback. It has been the defense that has carried them but I don’t think it’ll be enough today. Kirk Cousins will have a big day offensively and the Redskins will win what should be a close game. Take the Redskins as home dogs.

1:00 ET At Chicago -5.5 Green Bay 37.5: There is snow in the forecast for this game. The Packers can’t score points in optimal weather conditions, never mind a snow game. Take the Bears in this game. They will win by a touchdown.

1:00 ET Pittsburgh -10 At Indianapolis 45: The Steelers are playing well right now but something tells me Indy will come to play today and make this a game. Remember, the Steelers lost their season opener to the Bears. They have a tendency to play down in games like this. Pittsburgh will this game by a touchdown. Take the Colts as a home dog.

1:00 ET At Jacksonville -5 LA Chargers 41: Blake Bortles is playing well and the Jaguars might just have the best defense in the NFL. -5 is a manageable number for a home favorite so take the Jags with confidence. They are a good football team folks.

1:00 ET NY Jets -2 At Tampa Bay 43.5: The Jets have been competitive all season long and have proven they can play on the road and win. The Bucs are a mess right now and with Jameis Winston and Mike Evans out for this game, they have no chance in this one. I am putting my money on the road favorite in this one. Take the Jets.

1:00 ET At Tennessee -4.5 Cincinnati 40.5: I like the Titans in this game. Tennessee has quietly righted the ship the past three weeks and they have done it with their defense and running game. Cincinnati is just too inconsistent Week in and week out.

1:00 ET New Orleans -3 At Buffalo 48: The Bills laid an egg against the Jets on Thursday Night football but something tells me they will bounce back this week. Buffalo is a different team at home. The cold temperatures and a banged up Saints defense make the Bills an even more appealing play. Put your money on the Bills in this one.

1:00 ET At Detroit -11 Cleveland 43.5: The Lions aren’t exactly explosive offensively but they are good enough to beat the miserable Browns by two scores. The Lions are a no brainer home play.

4:05 ET At LA Rams -12 Houston 46: I am tempted to take the Texans as a two touchdown road dog but Tom Savage is awful and the Rams defense will eat him alive. Factor in that the Rams are explosive offensively and you can see why I am taking them.

4:25 ET At Atlanta -3.5 Dallas 48.5: The Cowboys are limping into this game and will be without Ezekiel Elliott. Atlanta is desperate and needs to win in order to keep pace in the NFC South. I think it is safe to say that the Falcons are a no-brainer in this one.

4:25 ET NY Giants -2.5 At San Francisco 42: This game will be ugly. If Jimmy G were starting for the Niners, I might be tempted to take San Francisco. He is not so I am going to take the Giants in what should be a low scoring affair.

8:30 ET New England -7.5 At Denver 44.5: Denver has been a house of horrors for the Patriots in the Tom Brady era but something tells me they will play well tonight. Brady has won in Denver before and he can do it again. I know Denver’s back is against the wall but it won’t matter. The Patriots are better and will cover with ease.

8:30 ET At Carolina -9 Miami 38.5: Both teams are a mess right now offensively. You obviously have to give Carolina the edge because they have Cam Newton and are at home but 9 points is a big number. I’ll take Carolina but I’m nervous.
