A familiar name will be patrolling the sidelines of Fitch High School this fall. Jordan Panucci has been named the new head football coach of the Falcons.

Panucci has spent the past 18 years in the program, including a two year stint as head coach from 2014-15. He was relived of his duties after the 2014 season and was replaced by Mike Ellis Jr. Pannucci served as defensive coordinator and assistant head coach under Ellis who coached the program for 10 years. Now Pannucci gets another shot at leading the program.

Fitch finished last season 6-5 and lost to Bunnell in the opening round of the Class MM playoffs.

In a statement released on the Fitch Football social media pages, it stated that Coach Panucci is committed to build on what the program has done in recent years.

As head coach, Coach Panucci is committed to building a program rooted in accountability, discipline, and consistency. His vision emphasizes players focusing on their own roles, effort, and execution regardless of circumstances or opponent, while developing a culture centered on mastering daily habits and taking the necessary steps toward long-term success.

Fitch High School is excited for the future of Falcon Football under Coach Panucci’s leadership.

Panucci played at Fitch. He’s also a psychology teacher at Fitch. He fully understands the expectations at the school and how to build a competitive program.

Panucci takes over a program that battled through injuries and replaced several starters last season. The injuries opened the door for some players to play so Fitch returns a good core in 2026.
