Former Brown wide receiver Graham Walker announced on social media on Sunday evening at he is committing to Rice University as a post graduate transfer.

The 6-3 215 pound Walker played at Avon Old Farms prior to his career at Brown. He had an exceptional high school career and followed that up with a terrific career at Brown.

Walker caught 44 passes for 515 yards and 6 touchdown catches this past season. For his career, Walker caught 125 passes for 1,465 yards and 15 touchdown receptions.

He is a legitimate red zone target who is best suited to play the X receiver but Walker has lined up at the Z and in the slot for the Bears during his career.

Walker had generated interest during his time in the portal but the opportunity to go to a program with high level academics and good football appealed to him and that is why he ultimately chose Rice.

Walker is the latest receiver to go from playing at Brown to transferring to an FBS program. Hayes Sutton graduate transferred to Duke after the 2022 season.

Walker is the half-brother of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. He has carved out his own successful football career and perhaps someday, he can share a football field with his half-brother.
