Here are five guys to start and five guys to sit this week. This also includes defenses in case you are wondering.
Start Em!
1. Joe Mixon, RB, Bengals vs. Dolphins: Nixon is back and healthy. With Gio Bernard out with a knee injury, Mixon should get the bulk of the touches and exploit a banged up Dolphins front seven.
2. Devonta Freeman, RB, Falcons at Steelers: Freeman is back and by all accounts, he will get a full workload. That makes him a must start against the Steelers suspect run defense.
3. Kelvin Benjamin, WR, Bills vs. Titans: Benjamin has struggled at times this season but he gets a great home match up against Malcolm Butler and the Titans.
4. Ty Montgomery, RB, Packers at Lions: With both Geronimo Allison and Randall Cobb out, expect Montgomery to have more of a featured role for the Packers out of the back field.
5. Denver Broncos Defense at the Jets: The Jets have been pitiful the past two weeks offensively. Sam Darnold is really struggling. Despite Denver’s recent struggles defensively, I still think they are a good defense that could yield a great return based on the match up.
Sit Em!
1. Kenyon Drake, RB, Dolphins at Bengals: Drake has been a disaster thus far and it is time to consider benching him.
2. Russell Wilson, QB Seahawks vs. Rams: Wilson has barely anything to work with and he is going up against the best defensive line in football. No brainer!
3. Minnesota Vikings Defense at Philadelphia: The Vikings defense is a mess right now and they cannot rush the passer. The lack of a pass rush has exposed an overrated secondary. Sit them in this one and play your back up defense.
4. LeSean McCoy, RB, Bills vs. Titans: The Titans front seven is pretty good and McCoy has failed to rush for more than 39 yards in a game this season. All of this adds to him being benched.
5. Devin Funchess, WR, Panthers vs. Giants: I don’t like this match up against Janoris Jenkins for Funchess. Stay away if you are planning on starting him.
