Colorado State -13 at Idaho, in the Potato Bowl: Colorado State has been playing some good football over the course of the past month.
Head coach Mike Bobo has the Rams offense humming and the Colorado State defense has been opportunistic and generating turnovers.
The Rams are heavily favored in this game, as they should be. They are the better team but don’t sleep on the Vandals. Idaho had the best season in its 21 year history as an FBS program.
That being said, they didn’t really beat any program of substance. It speaks to how weak the Sun Belt Conference was this season. Idaho is dropping down to an FCS program in 2018.
Idaho has enough talent to hang around for a half in this game but there is no way they beat Colorado State quarterback Nick Stevens and the Rams in this one.
-13 is a big number but the Rams should cover in a game that could be over by the half.
