Dylan Laube will get a yet another opportunity to prove that he is one of the top running backs in the 2024 NFL Draft by competing in the NFL Scouting Combine. Laube announced that he accepted the invite on Wednesday.
Laube has already accepted offers to play in the East-West Shrine Game and the Senior Bowl. Laube has been one of the most productive running backs in the country, at any level the past three seasons.
He has been a triple threat, amassing yards and scoring touchdowns as a runner, receiver and kick returner. He rushed for 2,779 yards and 29 touchdowns in his career. As a receiver out of the backfield, Laube caught 171 passes for 1,791 yards and 14 touchdown receptions.
Laube was also a weapon as a kick returner, racking up 2,633 punt and kickoff return yards and scoring 3 return touchdowns.
Laube caught scouts attention this past season when he caught 12 passes for 295 yards and two touchdowns against Central Michigan in a 45-42 shootout loss.
If you have covered college football around these parts like we have, you already know how good Laube is. There is a reason people refer to him as Christian McCaffery 2.0.
Now Laube will get to prove that he is that good on a national stage in front of talent evaluators in two college all-star games and the NFL Scouting Combine.
