1. David Price was far from dominant in yesterday’s opener but you see the difference an ace makes. He got out of a couple of jams and he struck out 10 in the Sox 6-2 win over the Indians. He did what an ace is suppose to do. WIN!

2. While its great that the Sox won their opener, now we’ll see how good they really are. The rest of the rotation has to start the next four games. You might want to cover your eyes at least twice.

3. Six runs is a good start for the Red Sox offensively. Let’s see if they can keep it up. They are going to have to in the A.L East, the best offensive division in baseball.

4. The Bruins let it run down their leg again last night in a 2-1 shootout loss to Carolina. I still think they’ll get in the playoffs but it’ll be through the back door with zero momentum.

5. The Warriors lost to the T-Wolves at home last night. Now the Celtics win on Friday has lost some of its luster. Just saying.

6. Whoopie! The UCONN’s Women’s Basketball team won their fourth straight national title. Does it get old? YES! I can’t stand Geno Auriemma’s stupid face!

7. The Blue Jays losing to the Rays on the slide rule last night is a shitty way to lose a game. Jays manager John Gibbons reaction to the ruling was priceless.
