1. The NFL informed the Patriots that they must wear numbers on their practice jerseys. Moral of the story. Belichick knows how to push buttons and the NFL likes to overreact.

2. Ravens receiver Breshad Perriman is cursed. I’m convinced he is.

2. Chandler Jones is already talking smack about the Patriots week one visit to Arizona. If the Pats want to shut him up, it’s simple. Establish the running game early and run the ball at him.

3. Broncos fans need not panic. John Elway will get a deal done with Von Miller before the start of the regular season. It’s going to happen.

4. Speaking of the Broncos, I hope the league comes down on Aqib Talib like they did Plaxico Burress. There’s precedent so Goodell can’t screw this up.

5. Ohio State landing five star quarterback Tate Martell is huge coup for Urban Meyer. Martell is undersized but he’ll be a great fit in Meyer system.

6. R.I.P Bryan Robinson. The former Rams, Bears, Dolphins, Bengals, and Cardinals defensive tackle had a wonderful 14 year career. He’s gone way too soon!
