Playoff time. Here’s our latest Top 25 as the postseason ramps up…

1. Naugatuck, Next Game: 11/28 vs. No. 21 Darien 

The Greyhounds were able to beat previously undefeated Ansonia 42-22. They used two quarterbacks in the game- senior Jett Hall and junior Ethan Jones. Jones completed two passes, both for touchdowns. Hall rushed for 228 yards and two scores.

2. Staples, Next Game: 11/28 vs. Fairfield Prep

The Wreckers went into Greenwich on turkey day and upset the top ranked Cardinals. Senior quarterback Caleb Smith continued to show why he is one of the top signal-callers in CT. He accounted for three total scores- one passing, and two rushing.

3. Greenwich, Next Game: 11/28 vs. Stamford 

The Cardinals fell to Staples 24-13 at home. Senior quarterback Rocco Grillo had 206 total yards and a passing touchdown. Senior running back Ian Kim had the team’s other score.

4. Maloney, 11/28 vs. No. 20 South Windsor

The Spartans defeated rival Platt 21-0 on Thursday.

5. North Haven, Next Game: 11/28 at No. 10 Fitch 

The Nighthawks trounced Amity 41-6. Four running backs combined for six rushing scores. Senior Dos Trysten has three of them.

6. New Canaan, Next Game: 11/28 vs. Killingly 

The Rams topped their rival Darien 31-17. Senior ATH Alex Benevento has two rushing scores. Junior quarterback Alex Russey had 111 rushing yards and a touchdown.

7. Windsor, Next Game: 11/28 vs. Bunnell 

The Warriors did not play last week.

8. Bloomfield, Next Game: 11/28 vs. Morgan

The Warhawks did not play last week.

9. Hand, Next Game: 11/28 vs. St. Joseph 

The Tigers defeated Guilford 36-20. Senior quarterback Jack Shay passed for 180 yards and two scores.

10. Fitch, Next Game: 11/28 vs. No. 5 North Haven

The Falcons pummeled Ledyard 33-0.
