College Dudes of the week – Week 1

It is the first installment of our College Dudes of the Week. We honor the top performances of the weekend in Division 1 College Football in New England. 

Week One featured several spectacular performances from some of the best players in the region. 

Here are the players who were flat out dudes! 

DUDE OF DUDES! Jordan Fuller, RB, Holy Cross: Fuller rushed for 120 yards on 13 carries. He scored four rushing touchdowns and also caught a touchdown pass in the Crusaders 42-20 win over Merrimack. DUDE!

Max Brosmer,QB, UNH: Brosmer completed 19-of-25 passes for 284 yards and 5 touchdown passes in the Wildcats 51-17 win over Stonehill. DUDE!

Dylan Laube, RB, UNH: Laube picked up where he left off last season. He had a rushing touchdown, a receiving touchdown and a 58 yard punt return touchdown in the Wildcats win over Stonehill. DUDE!

Victor Rosa, RB, UConn: Rosa scored both Huskies touchdowns, including a 71 yard rushing touchdown in a 24-14 loss to N.C State. DUDE!

Kasim Hill, QB, URI: Hill completed 24-of-40 passes for 408 yards and 4 touchdown passes in URI’s 42-35 loss to Georgia State. DUDE!

Marquis Buchanan, WR, URI: Buchanan caught two passes for 101 yards. One of the catches was a 73 yard touchdown catch in the Rams 42-35 loss. DUDE!

 C.J Duell, QB, Central Connecticut State: Duell completed 17-of-25 passes for 235 yards and two touchdown passes in the Blue Devils 44-0 win over AIC. DUDE!

Zevi Eckhaus, QB, Bryant: Eckhaus accounted for 319 yards of total offense in the Bulldogs 44-14 loss to UNLV. DUDE!

Tristen Kenan, RB, Maine: Kenan, a true freshmen carried the ball 24 times for 108 yards and a touchdown in the Black Bears hard fought 14-12 loss to FIU. DUDE!

Maine Defense: Also known as the “Black Hole” defense, Maine’s defense forced three turnovers and notched two sacks in the loss to FIU. DUDES!

Thomas Castellanos, QB, Boston College: Castellanos completed 13-of-28 passes for 138 yards and 2 touchdown passes. He also rushed for 67 yards on nine carries and a touchdown in the Eagles 27-24 loss to Northern Illinois. DUDE!
