On Monday we learned that UMass is rejoining the MAC or the Mid-American Conference. The Minutemen were Football members of the MAC from 2012-2015 and ten years later, they are back. UMass set to hire Shane Montgomery as offensive coordinator
We have waited to confirm this but according to sources, UMass is set to hire East Carolina offensive analyst Shane Montgomery as the school’s new offensive coordinator. Cursive U was the first to have it locally. Montgomery has called offenses for six different programs including the University of Buffalo most recently. He has also coached at Miami (Ohio), Akron, Charlotte, Youngstown State and James Madison. He replaces Steve Casula who……
