Broughton named new head coach at Manchester-Essex
Manchester Essex has hired Nicholas Broughton as the school’s new head football coach.
Broughton comes to Manchester Essex after serving as an assistant coach at Marblehead High School, where he served as a key member of the coaching staff as an assistant since 2015.
Wellesley hires Everhart as head coach
Wellesley has hired long time assistant Jim Everhart as the school’s new head football coach. After nearly two decades as an assistant, Everhart steps into the head coach role, replacing Jessie Davis who stepped down earlier this offseason to spend more time with family. Davis’ overall had a record of 99-58 during his tenure at Wellesley. He won 10 or more games in 2016 and 2019. In Davis’ 14 seasons leading the Raiders, the program only finished with one losing season in 2023 and they went .500 in 2020.
