The week of the upset as both New Canaan and Darien go down. As a result, both fall out of the top five in our poll this week. 1. Greenwich (3-0): Impressive interstate win over a good Bishop Hendricken team for the Cardinals. 2. Windsor (3-0): Statement win over one of the top programs in the state in Darien will move you up in any poll. 3. Staples (3-0): Grinded out a 28-21 win over Maloney. A big win for a Wreckers team that all of a sudden is looking like a favorite again in Class LL

All right, an interesting week, as there was a lot of turnover in Connecticut, and it looks like a fun year there. Maybe the biggest game was Greenwich’s 21-20 win over Bishop Hendricken. Q&A with Franklin coach Todd Kiley

Todd Kiley came over to Franklin from Holliston this offseason already established as one of the top coaches in the state. Since taking over for the Panthers, Kiley has posted some big wins, none bigger than Friday night’s 21-19 victory over Duxbury. Franklin now sits at 3-1 heading into a bye week. We wanted to talk to him and get his thoughts on the season. Here is an edited version……

MILTON — You follow BB&N football the past few years, and you run into a few hard truths. One, running back Bo MacCormack is going to run for a bunch of yards and basically dominate. Two, the Knights will impress you as a very good team. In Saturday’s 35-14 win over Milton Academy, all of that remained the same. The only caveat? Maybe scratch off “very good,” and replace it……
