Eagles look to keep recruits flocking to BC with another big OV weekend lined up
Image courtesy of Boston College the BC coaching staff was in Vegas right now, everyone would be crowding around the roulette table trying to piggy back off their heater. It’s not often that so many national recruits flock to Chestnut Hill, but the commitments have been coming in fast and furious these last few weeks following successful OV weekends. There are two official visit weekends left before June wraps up……
Boston College continues recruiting roll landing 2025 teammates from Oklahoma
Boston College’s staff got even more good news this week when teammates from Union High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma committed to the Bill O’Brien era. The biggest name was Shaker Reisig, a 6’1″ QB who was originally committed to Utah back in March. Reisig is yet another highly-coveted national recruit that has chosen to be part of what Bill O’Brien is building. The big gunslinger has offers from BC,……
Big weekend for BC with multiple commits following Official Visits
The recruiting train keeps on rolling. For the third straight weekend, the BC staff hosted OV’s – which last through the end of June – and got multiple commitments from out-of-state guys that usually don’t end up picking Chestnut Hill over some of the other schools they had been considering. BC got a major commitment from Semaj Fleming, a wide receiver from Florida who is unquestionably the most sought-after receiver BC has gotten in a long time. BC also got an impressive safety out of Georgia, Rae Sykes. Sykes had offers from……
A couple non-New England recruits high on BC after official visits
The new BC coaching staff seemed to have themselves a very good weekend. 13 players took an official visit with the Eagles and seemed to really enjoy their time and experience in Chestnut Hill. I reached out to almost all of the recruits that were scheduled to be here (at least the ones that had open DM’s, way easier that way) and two guys got back to me right away…….
Former Dartmouth & BC safety ready to make an impression at Pats’ rookie minicamp
If you attended any Boston College games at Alumni Stadium last year, you probably heard the name John Pupel quite often over the PA system. A transfer from Dartmouth, Pupel became a guy Eagles fans knew quickly. He was everywhere. Pupel was a tackling machine, leading the way with 82 of them (56 solo). He also forced and recovered a fumble and had a pass defended. Now, the 6’1,” 200lbs…….
