Old Dominion -6 v. Eastern Michigan, in the Popeyes Bahamas Bowl: Neither program has much Bowl experience so it will take both programs some time earlyto get  acclimated to playing in a big game.

Eastern Michigan has had a great turn around season at 7-5 but the Eagles don’t match up with Old Dominion who is a more athletic team. 

I’m going to take the Monarchs to win by two scores. Their ability to make big plays on both sides of the ball will be the difference in this game. 

Louisiana Tech -4 at Navy, in the Armed Forces Bowl: Navy will look to bounce back after a tough loss to Army two weeks ago. 

The Midshipmen will have to get back to their roots and run the football if they want to pull off the upset. 

It won’t be easy against an athletic La Tech defense that is disruptive and resets the line of scrimmage on a consistent basis. 

Louisiana Tech lives and dies with big plays in the passing game. Quarterback Ryan Higgins put monster numbers this season and he is a dual threat. If Navy can’t contain Higgins, they have no chance in this game.

The Bulldogs are eight point favorites in this game. I like it. Navy will be the fan favorite in the game but Louisiana Tech will win this game. 

Ohio at Troy -3.5, in the Dollar General Bowl: This should be a good match up between two teams that go as their offense goes. 
Ohio is well coached and they seemingly play in a bowl game every year. Unfortunately for the Bobcats, they won’t match up defensively with the Trojans offense. Troy will have their way with Ohio’s defense and win as a dog.
