Sights and sounds from Patriots practice – Preseason Week 2
FOXBOROUGH – The Pats were back on the practice field late Sunday afternoon after having a couple days off following the first preseason game against Houston. With joint practices set for Green Bay this week and preseason game No. 2 in Lambeau on Saturday, the team only went for about 45 minutes to an hour. With eyes of the FCS world now on him, Sluka ready to lead the way for Holy Cross
The entire country now knows what those of us locally have seen for a few years now. Matt Sluka is one of the best quarterbacks in the country, FCS or FBS. Throughout his career at Holy Cross, Sluka has steadily progressed into the QB we see now. Big, athletic, can run, can throw on the run, has great touch and can launch a deep ball (usually to Jalen Coker) if…

Chesney’s birthday was Thursday, which was also Media Day for the Crusaders and also happens to be the same day Dobbs agreed to become a Crusader seemingly former ago now. But, now more than ever after returning from injury that kept him…
Sights and sounds from Patriots training camp – Day 12
We’re on to the preseason. Yes, it’s two different things. Training camp ended on Tuesday with a final padded practice before the first exhibition game against Houston Thursday night. While it’s still tough to gauge a ton with the offense since the line is still in disarray, it’s hard not to be encouraged with the fact that even with the backups, the offense has shown an ability to function and…
