The Bushnell Cup Awards have a distinctly New England flavor this year as Yale quarterback Nolan Grooms, Brown wide receiver Wes Rockett and Dartmouth defensive end Charles Looes were announced as the finalists for the award on offense and defense. UConn redshirt sophomore quarterback Zion Turner has decided to enter the transfer portal according to On3 Sports. The Fort Lauderdale, Fla native started in 13 games for the Huskies as a true freshman in 2022 after starter Ta’Quan Roberson went down with a season-ending knee injury in the season opener.
