The Bushnell Cup Awards have a distinctly New England flavor this year as Yale quarterback Nolan Grooms, Brown wide receiver Wes Rockett and Dartmouth defensive end Charles Looes were announced as the finalists for the award on offense and defense. Boston College senior guard Christian Mahogany has accepted his invite to play in the East-West Shrine game. Mahogany returned this season after missing all of last season due to a knee injury suffered in the off-season.  The New Jersey native picked up where he left off in 2021. UConn redshirt sophomore quarterback Zion Turner has decided to enter the transfer portal according to On3 Sports. The Fort Lauderdale, Fla native started in 13 games for the Huskies as a true freshman in 2022 after starter Ta’Quan Roberson went down with a season-ending knee injury in the season opener.
