Maybe, with past University of Rhode Island teams, the Rams lose the type of game they played Saturday against Albany. Not this time. URI earned a hard-fought, 20-17 win over Albany Saturday. Now, the Rams hold a 9-2 record overall, and 6-1 mark in the Coastal Athletic Association with only next Saturday’s trip to Bryant left. The Rams fell in an early, 17-0 deficit by halftime. Don’t count out these Holy Cross Crusaders just yet. They rallied for a 40-38 win over Bucknell Saturday. With a victory next week against Georgetown and a Lehigh loss, Holy Cross would win the Patriot League. Holy Cross finds itself with a 5-6 overall record, and shares a 4-1 league mark with Lehigh. More and more, it feels like a special season for the Harvard Crimson. On Saturday, Harvard defeated Penn, 31-28, with backup players filling key roles at the end. With the win, Harvard clinches a share of the Ivy League title.
