Patriots work out local draft prospects

The Patriots worked out a slew of local draft prospects at their local pro day today. Several local prospects got the opportunity to workout for the coaching staff and decision makers.

Many of the local prospects invited were players that the team watched workout at last week’s pro days in the area.

Others were either prospects with local ties or prospects who played here and then transferred .

Here is the complete list of local prospects who worked out for the Patriots today.

Brown QB Jake Willcox

New Hampshire QB Seth Morgan

Boston College RB Treshaun Ward

New Haven RB Christopher Ais

Of the players on this list, Trapilo, Lundt and Truss have the best shot of getting drafted. All three could be off the board by the fourth round. Griffith and Ward are prospects who could get drafted late in day three.

Several of the other prospects on this list are going to get undrafted free agent contracts. All of them should get a shot to go to rookie minicamp with teams.
