1. Greenwich, Next Game: 11/10 vs. Ridgefield

The Cardinals defeated Westhill 43-8. Senior running back Ian Kim had a nice game on the ground, finishing with 81 yards and two touchdowns. Senior linebacker Sebastian Parra returned an interception for a 20-yard score.

2. Naugatuck, Next Game: 11/10 at Seymour 

The Greyhounds thumped Crosby 49-18. Senior quarterback Jett Hall only completed three passes, but two of them went for touchdowns. Senior running back Jaylin Martinez has two rushing scores of his own.

3. Maloney, Next Game: 11/10 vs. Conard 

The Spartans held on to beat a tough Southington squad 20-18. Junior ATH Jesus Martell had two receiving touchdowns and an interception. Senior ATH Donte Kelly added a 55-yard KOR score. Maloney’s defense stopped the Blue Knight on the game tying two-point attempt.

4. Ansonia, Next Game: 11/9 vs. No. 23 Oxford 

The Chargers moved to 8-0 by topping Woodland Regional 49-20.

5. North Haven, Next Game: 11/16 at Hamden 

The Nighthawks got an upset victory over the previously No. 2 ranked Cheshire Rams.

6. Staples, Next Game: 11/10 vs. St. Joseph

The Wreckers beat Trumbell 35-18. Senior quarterback Caleb Smith rushed for two scores. Junior linebacker Kody Goldman led the defense with 15 total tackles.

7. Cheshire, Next Game: 11/10 vs. No. 10 West Haven

The Rams suffered their first loss at the hands of North Haven. They were not able to muster much offensively. Junior running back Nicholas Miller had the only touchdown.

  1. New Canaan, Next Game: 11/10 vs. McMahon

The Rams pummeled Bridgeport Central 42-6. Junior quarterback Alex Russey had three total touchdowns- one passing and two rushing. Sophomore ATH Cole Campisi had a rushing score as well.

  1. Bloomfield, Next Game: 11/10 vs. Tolland 

The Warhawks took care of East Catholic in a 42-6 win.

  1. West Haven, Next Game: 11/10 at No. 7 Cheshire 

The Blue Devils had a quality 46-6 team win over NDWH. Junior quarterback Nick Conaln passes for three scores. Senior running back Camren Kemp was solid as well, adding two touchdowns on the ground.
