Sorry Nicky. Your Tide don’t deserve to be in the college football playoff. 

Some thoughts on the week that was in college football.

1.I don’t have an issue with the committee’s latest top four of Clemson, Auburn, Wisconsin and Oklahoma. If all four hold serve this weekend and win, they will be the final four teams in the college football playoff.

2. Alabama does not deserve to be one of the final four teams in this year’s playoff. Nick Saban is delusional if he really believes that! THEY DIDN’T PLAY ANYONE!!!

3. Tennessee is a disaster right now. What the administration did to Greg Schiano is embarrassing. They should all be fired!! By the way, if they don’t hire Chad Morris from SMU, they are bigger morons than we thought!

4. Joe Moorhead is a terrific hire for Mississippi State. He doesn’t have recruiting ties in the SEC but he is a terrific offensive coach and a proven commodity.

5. Dan Mullen is a great hire for Florida. At first I was a little annoyed that he left Mississippi State but then I realized that he probably stayed there longer than he should have. If he can land five star quarterback recruit Justin Fields to run his spread offense for the next three years, look out!

6. Matt Luke was the right hire for Ole Miss. Sorry haters!

7. If Jimbo Fisher were to bolt for Texas A&M, the first call the admin in Tallahassee should make should be to Lane Kiffin.

8. Michigan will not beat Ohio State until Jim Harbaugh lands a legit five star quarterback that can run his complicated offense effectively.

9. If Arizona State hires 63 year old Herm Edwards, then they get what they deserve. Edwards hasn’t coached or recruited at the college level since 1989. Give me a break with this nonsense!

10. Scott Frost to Nebraska makes all the sense in the world. I don’t know what is taking so long! Pay the man and get him to Lincoln!
