Fantasy Football: Add Em, Drop Em for Week 9

It is the week 9 edition of Add Em and Drop Em!

Add Em!

1.Ju-Ju Smith Schuster, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers: Smith-Schuster has established himself as the number two receiver in Pittsburgh. His production should be pretty consistent moving forward. If there was a week to pick him up, this is the week. The Steelers are on a bye.

2. Alex Collins, RB, Baltimore Ravens: Collins is coming off the best game of his career last week (18 carries 113 yards) against the Dolphins. While he is splitting carries with Janoris Allen, he is the better play moving forward because he will get first and second down carries as well as goal line and short yardage carries. He has a tough match up this week against the Titans but you have to take a long term view with Collins.

3. Kenyan Drake, RB, Miami Dolphins: Drake is the starting running back in Miami now that Jay Ajayi has been traded. He will split carries with Damien Williams but Drake is the better receiver and is more explosive. His versatility should be a good fit in Adam Gase’s offense moving forward.

4. Paul Richardson, WR, Seattle Seahawks: Paul Richardson has taken over as the Sehawks number two receiver. In his last two games, Richardson has caught eight passes for 166 yards and three touchdowns. He is finally healthy and finally getting an opportunity to play. Richardson is available in over 60% of standard ESPN, Yahoo and CBS Sports Line leagues. Grab him!

5. Vernon Davis, TE, Washington Redskins: With Jordan Reed possibly missing this week’s game in Seattle with a hamstring injury, Davis becomes a player you should target on the wire. The Texans torched Seattle’s secondary last week and the Redskins could do the same. If you need a tight end streaming option this week, pick up Davis.

Drop Em!

1.Mike Gillislee, RB, New England Patriots: It is time to give up on Gillislee. He has been a non factor the last six weeks and that is not going to change after the bye. If you are in a ten team league, comb the wire and find a replacement. If you are in a twelve team league, shop him and hope you get something.

2. Willie Snead, WR, New Orleans Saints: Snead has missed most of the season with injury and base on his usage last week, he doesn’t seem to be a big part of the Saints plans right now. I wouldn’t waste a roster spot on him.

3. LeGarrette Blount, RB, Philadelphia Eagles: The Jay Ajayi trade kills Blount’s fantasy value in my opinion. Blount was already a fringe play this season as it was. With the addition of Ajayi, he becomes even less of an attractive option.

4.  Randall Cobb, WR, Green Bay Packers: It is time to move on from Randall Cobb if you own him. He wasn’t producing when Aaron Rodgers was healthy and he certainly won’t produce now. Jordy Nelson and Davante Adams are the only Packers receivers worth holding onto at this point.

5. Eric Decker, WR, Tennessee Titans: There are better fantasy options out there, especially in ten team leagues and daily fantasy. Decker is a shell of what he was in Denver. He will never that player again. Move on. Drop him!
